Through a pleasant trip inland between Romagna and Marche, you can reach this important centre of art and culture, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Stroll through the historic centre of Urbino: it is a labyrinth of narrow, winding streets, full of shops, cafés and restaurants. On board the bus you will be given a map of the city showing the main sites of historical/artistic interest. You will admire the medieval and Renaissance architecture of this wonderful city.

You will visit Raffaello’s house, now converted into a museum housing works by the painter and documents on his life, the Urbino Cathedral, a 14th-century Gothic church dedicated to St. John the Baptist, with frescoes and paintings by local artists, and the 15th-century Albornoz Fortress.

The excursion is free (DOES NOT INCLUDE GUIDED TOUR) and includes a tasting of ‘crescia marchigiana’ and a glass of wine/small beer in the Fortress Park (at 5 pm), from which you can enjoy the most beautiful panoramic view of Urbino.
